The Company Held 2017 Science and Technology Awards Review Meeting and the 6th BIM Scheme Disclosure Contest
From January 9 to January 10, the Company successfully held the 2017 Science and Technology Awards Review Meeting and the 6th BIM Scheme Disclosure Contest at the headquarters. Company’s general manager and deputy party committee secretary Ha Xiaoping, chief engineer Yu Ke, deputy chief engineers Gao Cunjin, Zhang Xianzhu and Chen Guoguang, deputy manager of safety production supervision and management department Xu Hongwei, deputy directors of the Design and Research Institute (Technical Center) Ge Zhengang and Zhang Aijun, and chief engineers of various secondary entities attended the acticity and served as the judges.
At the meeting, Ha Xiaoping first affirmed the Company’s achievements in scientific and technological achievements and BIM technology in 2017, and combined with the development of the Company, he put forward specific requirements for the scientific and technological work and the application of BIM technology. In terms of scientific and technological innovation, the first requirement was to understand the connotation of innovation, encourage lead innovation, and oppose the “false innovation” of form over content; the second requirement was to strengthen science and technology guidance, accurately predict the development of the construction industry, and form the core competitiveness of the Company; the third requirement was to improve the benefits creation of the science and technology, speed up the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and truly play the benefits creation role of the scientific and technological achievements. In terms of BIM technology, the first requirement was to clarify the direction of development, vigorously promote the construction of BIM project management and control platform, and strengthen the organic integration between BIM technology and design management, and the second requirement was to define the development goals, enhance the role of BIM technology in data integration, service and benefits creation, make the BIM technology run through whole life cycle of construction project, and achieve the “second growth point” of the enterprise profits.
At the Science and Technology Awards Review Meeting, Zhang Aijun interpreted the implementation methods for the review of science and technology awards and emphasized meeting discipline. Each person completing the results conducted the on-site issue in turn, and then the expert judges conducted on-site questions and comments, and the issuers answered questions. The judges upholded the principle of justice and fairness to review the results, and finally 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 9 third prizes of the scientific and technological progress achievement award, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 2 third prizes of excellent construction organization and design award, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes of excellent construction scheme award, 10 excellent construction method awards, 1 first prize and 2 second prizes of patent achievement award were selected.
In the BIM Scheme Disclosure Contest, Ge Zhengang reported the preparations for the BIM Scheme Disclosure Contest, and based on the preliminary review, he put forward three requirements. The first requirement was to avoid duplication of topics, and strengthen the practicality and universality of the topics; the second requirement was to not to excessively pursue the “something new and original”, start from small thing and achieve the perfection; the third requirement was to increase the scope of application of BIM, not be confined to the process and flow parts. After fierce competition, Central China Branch’s Aluminum Alloy Formwork Construction Scheme, Jinan Branch’s Special Construction Scheme for Precipitation, Support and Diversion Works of Steel Plate Sluice Construction in Xingji River and Central Plains Branch’s Sliding System and Aluminum Formwork Installation Construction Scheme won the first prize in the scheme category. Xiamen Branch’s BIM-based Steel Pipe Scaffolding Key Position Nodes Disclosure and Combined Type Ribbed Plastic Formwork Construction Technology Disclosure, and Overseas Business Division’s Technical Disclosure on the Prototype Room Constructed by Wet Method won the first prize in the disclosure category.
Yu Ke made a summary for this event, reviewed the main achievements in the science and technology work in 2017 and proposed some requirements for the next work. The first requirement was that the secondary entities should combine with the needs of the local construction industry integrity evaluation system and continue to strengthen summary of scientific and technological achievements. The second requirement was that the Design and Research Institute (Technical Center) should gradually increase the assessment and weight of the high-level scientific and technological achievements, and guide the development of scientific and technological achievements to a higher level; the third requirement was that the Design and Research Institute (Technicaly Center) should strengthen the assessment and promote the effective use of material library. The fourth requirement was that all secondary entities should continue to put a lot of pressure on themselves, formulate reasonable and challenging goals, and achieve new breakthroughs. At the end, Yu Ke said that “Happiness comes from struggle” and required all secondary entities to strengthen benchmarking and learning, continue to strengthen the summary and refinement of scientific and technological achievements, and strive to improve the “gold content” of the achievements.
